Oct 20, 2005 - The Amesbury Amateurs Championship to raise money for breast cancer is this weekend. Sign in for golfers begins at 8:00 AM. There are still some spots available so if you want to golf and haven't registered, please do so! This is a great opportunity to play some golf as well as support a great cause. For those that are not familiar with the sport, come join us! There will be a disc golf demonstration in the morning, discs available for purchase and a good time to be had by all!

Oct 11, 2005 - A photographer and writer from the Boston Globe visited us for Tuesday Tags on Oct 11. Check out the Boston North section this Sunday as the article is awesome! For those that don't get that section, we have a copy of the article here.

Oct 3, 2005 - We have a winner! Dan has parked an ACE on hole 18 and has won the Marshall Street Disc Golf DVD. Too bad for him, he already owns one.... so we will continue to run this contest. July 19, 2005 - It's been a month, but the results have finally been posted for the 2005 Amesbury Pines Open. Click here to see them. Congratulations to everyone that competed and especially to our first ever Green Jacket winners .... Brent Sanderson, Marielle Powell and Josh Polur.

July 4, 2005 - Play Golf....Cure Cancer!!! Amesbury Pines has announced the first annual Amesbury Ametuer Championships to help raise money for breast cancer to be held on October 22, 2005 and the first annual Pro Event on the following day, October 23, also helping to raise money for breast cancer. These will be an ametuers only event and a pro only event with a portion of the entry fees being donated to breast cancer research. Get more information about the event here.

April 22, 2005 - WIN A DISC GOLF DVD!!! The next ace shot at Amesbury Pines will win a copy of "Marshall Street Disc Golf Championship -2004". This DVD is packed with long drives and killer putts. If you shoot an ace (and have a witness!), please email Dan. If you want to buy a copy of the DVD, you will be supporting the course as we receive a percentage of the proceeds. April 13, 2005 - Now is winter over? Nine die hard disc golfers showed up for tags yesterday denying that winter was still lingering. Although the temperature was hovering a bit above 30 degrees, rain was a slow constant and yes....snow was falling, Tuesday Tags was played. Dan will be contacting Mother Nature and he guarantees a sunny spring day next Tuesday. See you then.

April 6, 2005 - Tags are under way! It was a beautiful day yesterday for the first Tuesday Tags of the 2005 season with 12 golfers there to get us started. We are looking forward to seeing even more this coming Tuesday. Don't forget, we start at 5 o'clock sharp. If you still have a tag from last year, please bring it along and if not.... please make one to bring with you, just don't add a number yet. Click here to see the 2005 tags that we have so far.

Mar 2005 - Daylight savings time starts on Sunday, April 3. This means that the 2005 Tuesday Tags League starts on Tuesday, April 5. The round of golf starts at 5:00 so arrive early and please bring a tag with you. We will have Sharpies available for numbering. Tag numbers will be given on a first come first served basis so don't miss your opportunity for a low numbered tag! It may be your only chance! Anybody that can throw a disc is invited to play.
